Robert (Rob) Hepler Lowe is an American actor, producer and director. Rob is a Hollywood leading man notable for his role in St. Elmo’s Fire, Square Dance and recently Fox drama 9-1-1: Lone Star.

Lowe was born in Virginia on March 17, 1964. Rob’s parents divorced when he was young so he and his mother and his younger brother moved to Malibu, California

Rob started acting in 1976, he went on to star in Thursday’s Child, a film he received his first Golden Globe award.

In 1987, Lowe received his second Golden Globe for his role in the movie Square Dance.
